Viriditas

Viriditas is a Latin word that literally means “greenness” but has taken on a spiritual and animistic connotation to mean the organic and regenerative force of life. In this series of works, I abandon lines and polygons for more truly organic forms that assemble themselves cell-by-cell. This process yields detail, intricacy, and intimacy that were absent from my previous work.
