Flora II

This project came about through a simple flash of inspiration during a few minutes of downtime one day: I had a vision of some sort of organic art in which individual cells or organisms were represented by a structure like stained glass, which in my execution became squares of various degrees of transparency. I equipped each square with a four-way color gradient that allowed seamless placement next to other squares with different colors. This was a tricky thing, but I think it might offer a somewhat richer texture than some of my other work. Click here to view 10 random high-resolution images out of a batch of 145.
